Realistic artistry is Jermaal Taylor’s passion.
His attention to detail was noted early in his art pictures.
Interpretation of his mind eye shows every aspect of his subject
matter. In Jermaal’s early pictures, he zoomed in on the subject’s
eyes and even then they seem to speak to him. With a medium of a
pencil, he draws his viewers in to take a closer look.
The realism is put to the test. The viewer can determine
whether it is a portrait or a drawing.

King of Comedy - Pencil -- 11" x 14" - This is a picture of Richard Pryor, the Original King of comedy. In this drawing I wanted to capture his face and an action photo of the comedian.

Bub - Pencil - 8" x 11" - This is a drawing of my old man. It was a gift to him for his birthday.

Jackie - Pencil - 11" x 14" - This is a drawing of Jackie Robinson at a younger age. In this drawing I focused in on his facial expression, rough skin along with lightning and darkness contrast.
