Born and raised in Fairfield, Connecticut,
Nancy was fortunate to experience the beauty of four different
seasons and the adventure of a small New England town environment.
Always loving to draw and paint, she spent a majority of time trying
to represent her surroundings on paper or canvas. Nancy’s art skills
were nurtured by art teachers throughout her life and after
receiving an associate degree in commercial art she decided to
pursue a BS degree in art and physical education from Averett
College in Danville, Virginia. While teaching in Richardson, Texas,
she attended North Texas University in pursuit of a master’s degree
in art education.
