Manuel Nava Leal
Manuel Nava Leal is an Author and Poet who
has been involved in theatre for over thirty years as a director,
actor, set designer, lighting and sound technician and just a few
years ago added Playwright to his list of accomplishments.
Manuel has written short stories, prose and poetry since childhood
and recalls creating and reciting stories early in life. He
remembers at times entertaining close friends along with his
sisters, with stories of love and adventure as well as tales of the
paranormal and the supernatural. Together he and his sisters would
perform before white cotton sheets hung on the line to dry. He
writes often of those times growing up in the
Manuel’s passion is the short story, he has successfully converted
several into theatrical productions and recently produced his fifth
entitled “Even the Sun Cried,” at Talento Bilingue de Houston.
Manuel is continually writing and is consistently inspired by life’s
subtleties, grandeur and mysteries.
