Resurrecting Ghosts, is an honest, heart-felt story told mainly through the eyes of a young boy wanting a better life for himself, but who feels he is held hostage within a life of pain, struggle and disappointment. This book takes the reader on Peter’s journey through life, highlighting his highs and many lows. As a reader, you definitely laugh with him, cry with him and rejoice with him as he vividly recounts various moments within his chaotic, young life. This book is definitely a page-turner from beginning to end and holds the reader effectively throughout. Peter and his family’s story is definitely one that practically anyone can identify with; and it’s told from such a genuine and at times, very comedic fashion. I truly feel that there is a lesson for everyone within this tale, no matter where you come from. It is a true testament that your beginnings don’t have to dictate your path in life.  A Johnson

Surprisingly this book was a great book.  I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I got mad and I found myself sometimes praying too.  I'm passing this book off to my nieces and nephews since I don't have children.  L. Pearson
