This book is very exciting. it shows that not everyone in prison is a monster. I liked that it showed different sides of people who get out of Prison. In the beginning we find out that Phillip is Gay, but not once did he use his 'powers' for his own sexual pleasures. Other than the 'mind reading', the story is good and believable. I did not want to put the book down. - R. Villa
The characters were great along with their cause of the greater good. Phillip and his team were very believable in their quest in spiritual teachings in using their special powers only for good and not evil. Even though Jovan choose to use the teachings of Phillip for his own personal gain, his love of Phillip would not let him use those teachings against him. The story was well written to keep the interest up with both the group of Phillip's and of Jovan's, even though eh and his team were the bad guys. The epilogue summed up a perfect ending to a perfect book. - D. Michael Davis
The Star Children (with their special gifts) can carry a heavy burden. Most would not know how to function or use their gifts in a positive way. If it had not been for Phillip, they would be bogged down with feelings of isolation. The book is a treasure for the Star Children. Does the 'gifts' have a definitive purpose and meaning? Maybe, Mr. Bourgeois will quench my curiosity by writing another book to talk about the categories of "gifts". Fabulous Book! - E. Johnson
This book is truly a fine piece of work by this new and up coming author, B. Alan Bourgeois. it is a gripping story and a fast paced page turner. The author did a wonderful job in bringing to life the many characters in this story. And yet the way this book is written, it is easy to follow all these characters. IF I was to compare this authors work to that of someone else's, I'd say that Alan Bourgeois's writing style is like John Saul's. I would like to see more of Mr. Bourgeois work in the future. He has a great talent in writing. Keep up the good work Mr. Bourgeois - S. Hood
This is a story that might seem farfetched to some. But I see this type of psychic activity only to rise in the future. I loved the concept of God and human powers combined to use nature’s powers. – S. Kelm
I found the concept of the story intriguing and the flow of the information was smooth and well planned. The concept of human evolution within the “Abilities” through the “Abilities” is a reflection of the Author’s experience and ties in well with the “new Enlightenment” and my personal beliefs. A slight bias on my part towards this story, but I’m disappointed in the “comic book” taste I am left with. – R. Spears, Jr.

When the world is faced with a new level of evolution, two things can happen. It can be good or it can be bad. This is a story of how these two forces must come to terms with their powers and to deal with that humanistic nature of what is good or bad.
Author B. Alan Bourgeois has written a faced pace novel about the new level of evolution known as the Star Children or the Indigo Children. This is a story of a man who tries to redeem himself by teaching these children how to use their powers for good. Sadly though, he blew his first chance and it has come back to haunt him.
