Sylvia Squirrelis sewing a warm coat for Arlo Dormouse so the little mouse won't feel the coming winter's chill. But, she needs to go to the forest's general store to buy some of Bartholomew Beaver's beautiful buttons to finish the coat.
On her way to the store, Sylvia meets her friend, Ezra Q. Porcupine
(who has been known to be grumpy from time-to-time).
She asks him to walk with her. " I'd like that," he says.
Farther down the trail they meet Arlo, who wants to go to the store,
too. But Ezra gets lost
on the way (though he'd never admit it), and it takes one of
Bartholomew's creative ideas, and the help of Arlo and Sylvia to
save Ezra on this cold
and dark fall evening.
Where’s Ezra
is a children’s story about friends helping friends – even if one
friend can be a bit grouchy and difficult to help.
