My Favorite Book

by Regina Jackson

Designed like a scrapbook, your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or a preschooler becomes the star in this book.  While it is designed to encourage preschoolers to read, children will love to have it read to them.  Preschoolers will learn how to recognize the alphabet, colors, and numbers 1 through 20.   The scrapbook introduces preschoolers to rhyming words, different foods, and familiar animals. Phonics, the foundation for learning how to read, is emphasized by being placed on the book cover.  Proper punctuation is demonstrated throughout the book, with definitions of the most common punctuation marks located in the back of the book for an easy explanation by the adult.  The book even has a section that teaches proper hand washing to prevent the spread of disease.

It is absolutely essential that preschoolers develop a positive self-image, which will supplant any false self-perception that may be in the mind of a preschooler.  This book will enable children to learn more about themselves, especially how they look, and how their appearance is constantly changing.   Children will imagine themselves taking positive action, encouraging an adventurous attitude towards life.  Due to the design of this book, you can change the pictures as often as you like, or just purchase additional volumes of My Favorite Book.
