Life Lessons from Beyond the Grave
Photography & Devotions by

Kaleidoscope
The reason that I started writing this
devotional was because I believe that every person who has gone on
before has a lesson that we can gleam from them. I would go to the
cemeteries and visit the graves of various ancestors and friends
that have gone on before and would find myself learning something
new each time that I went out. This devotional shares some of the
life lessons that I learned from “beyond the grave.”
How To Use This Book:
Week 1: Take your time in
reading the devotion daily.
Week 2: Mediate daily on the
life lesson presented.
Week 3: Apply this life lesson to your life.
If you take your time reading, mediating and
applying each of the lessons that you learn in this devotional book;
you, too, will find that you can learn a

A photo book by Ginger DeLater
“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains un-awakened.” − Anatole France
The quote says it all for me. I photograph dogs because they create joy in my life. Whether I’m shooting, designing a montage or painting canvas for a custom mat, I can always find something to smile about. Dogs define what it means to live in the moment. I strive to be more like the dogs I meet: connected, fun, spontaneous, and passionate. My goal is to portray what is special about every animal I photograph. It might be the way a dog smiles or bats her eyes, or it might just be his/her fascination with tennis balls. When I capture that, the photograph speaks to people. I have been called the “Annie Leibovitz of dogs”, and while I don’t know if that’s true, I do know I have a gift for connecting with them.
It thrills me to see people recognize a dog’s personality in one of my photographs. I feel fortunate to be able to share my work with others. Whether it’s a pet owner or someone who just likes my art, it’s wonderful to know someone will smile when seeing my work every day. I think we can all change the world – one little moment at a time. Interacting with dogs and their people is a way I play my part.

Adam and BJ do the unthinkable growing up in the south in the sixties. They enter into an agreement that translate into an arranged marriage, one of convenience. Who would ever imagine an arranged marriage between two young black teens during this turbulent season? They make a conscious decision to become husband and wife based initially on a verbal contract between the two of them and then enlisted the approval of their parents. Out of a desire to escape a life of poverty Adam and BJ conceive this idea. With the permission and blessings of their parents the marriage becomes a reality.
They foster powerful and nurturing relationships while wandering from one place to another meshing their lives with the lives of people they encounter on this incredible adventure. BJ believes that she and Adam descend from a nomadic tribe somewhere in the deep corners of Africa because of their desire to always roam in search of new places and new friends. With this belief so rigidly fixed in her mind BJ accepts each challenge as they arise and develop the courage and strength to triumph over them. Some storms arrive with punishing gale force winds while others noisy rush in fizzling out unnoticed. What Adam and BJ learn and take away from these adventures shape and mold them into the unique human beings predestined of God.

Designed like a scrapbook, your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or
a preschooler becomes the star in this book.
While it is designed to encourage preschoolers to read,
children will love to have it read to them. Preschoolers will
learn how to recognize the alphabet, colors, and numbers 1 through
20. The scrapbook
introduces preschoolers to rhyming words, different foods, and
familiar animals. Phonics, the foundation for learning how to read,
is emphasized by being placed on the book cover. Proper
punctuation is demonstrated throughout the book, with definitions of
the most common punctuation marks located in the back of the book
for an easy explanation by the adult. The book even has a
section that teaches proper hand washing to prevent the spread of
disease.
It is absolutely essential that preschoolers develop a positive
self-image, which will supplant any false self-perception that may
be in the mind of a preschooler. This book will enable
children to learn more about themselves, especially how they look,
and how their appearance is constantly changing.
Children will imagine themselves taking positive action,
encouraging an adventurous attitude towards life. Due to the
design of this book, you can change the pictures as often as you
like, or just purchase additional volumes of My Favorite Book.
A portion of the proceeds will pay for printing cost of books given to children of lower income families.

When the world is faced with a new level of evolution, two things can happen. It can be good or it can be bad. This is a story of how these two forces must come to terms with their powers and deal with that humanistic nature of what is good or bad.
Author B. Alan Bourgeois has written a fast pace novel about the new level of evolution known as the Star Children or the Indigo Children. This is a story of a man who tries to redeem himself by teaching these children how to use their powers for good. Sadly though, he had failed in his first chance and it has come back to haunt him.
